What to Do When a User is in "Pending" Status

When Does a User Appear as "Pending"?

A user will be in Pending status in the following scenarios:

  1. New User Creation
    When a new user account is created, it will initially appear as pending until the user sets a password.
  2. Email Address Update
    If a user’s email address is updated, the system will place the account in pending status for security and verification purposes.

What Needs to Be Done

To activate the account or complete the email update, the user must:

  1. Check their Prompt Email Address
    An email containing a Reset Password link will be sent to the user's registered email address.
  2. Follow the Reset Link
    Click the reset link in the email. This will lead to the password setup page.
  3. Set a New Password
    Create and confirm a new password.

Once the password is successfully set, the user profile will be automatically activated, and the Pending status will be cleared.
