How to create editable PDF forms

Prompt Support Updated by Prompt Support

In order to take advantage of this solution, you will require access to Adobe Acrobat DC (the Pro version not just the Reader).

Your users will require access only to the application they are currently using to read PDF documents.

Create a PDF document directly in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro to which you attach in the Footer (or anywhere else within the document), any of the known Prompt Footer tags for example, <#doc_num>, <#ver_num>, <#next_review_date> .

Upload the PDF document to Prompt ensuring you tick the box [Don’t convert to PDF].

Once published your document will be ready to use as an editable PDF form.
