Add New User: Email address is already in use

While creating a new user in Prompt, if the email address is already in use or has been used previously, you will receive an error message saying "Email address is already in use".

To find the existing user:

  1. Go to Admin > Manage Users
  2. Under User List, you'll be able to see the number of active, pending and suspended users.
  3. If you are unable to find the specific user you are trying to create from this list, select View Disabled on the top-right of the User list by ticking the radio-button.

Note: If you can't find the email address even in the Disabled list, you can log a ticket under Prompt Support.
